“Growing up with South Bay Ballet has given me an excellent foundation that I have learned from and will cherish. Diane Lauridsen and the teachers at Lauridsen Ballet Centre provide strong and versatile training and are always there for support and encouragement. They care about how each dancer will personally benefit from the instruction. Their strong commitment instills discipline and an amazing work ethic. The environment is one in which valuable lessons are learned and true friendships are formed.”

“I firmly believe I would not be where I am today without Diane and the teachers at Lauridsen Ballet Centre. The foundational training I received from ages 6-18 prepared me for my education at The Juilliard School and now as a professional dancer with LA Dance Project. Along with making friends for life in the dance studio, I learned the importance of rigor, respect, and responsibility for my art form at a young age. I believe that the community I was surrounded by as a young dancer has shaped me to become a compassionate and empathetic adult.”

– DAISY JACOBSON

“My time at Lauridsen Ballet Centre was nourished with training that guided me towards becoming the self-disciplined and artistic dancer that I am today.”
