Ballet California Summer Intensives
Students of ballet are part of a long artistic tradition. Dancers must understand much more about their bodies, stagecraft, musicality, and accompanying art forms than it is possible to learn in the short times allotted for class during the school year. For this reason, Ballet California & Lauridsen Ballet Centre have formed our summer intensive program which:
enriches a dancer’s knowledge
provides intensive training during the time of year when the student has the most time and energy
facilitates the transition between one level of ballet training and the next.
Every level in the summer intensive will culminate in a performance including a classical ballet presentation, student choreography, and, for levels 3 and up, a modern dance.
